Self-Destruction!

Post by preston566 »

I had only played the stupid thing for about 3 hours- finishing up legendary so I could get the tilt skull from the Storm. Here's my problem, the disc wouldn't load the Storm, I took the game out to check. It was covered in a watery fog. I wiped it a few times, but would like to know, is this reparable? will it just go away? Or do I have to do something to the disc.

with regret,

Move your console somewhere less wet.

Yeah, If the humidity is high in the room the sinks would most likely be heating up the air making the fog on the disc. Also the moisture could fry the mobo or hd by bridging a connection.

Just because you live in Florida doesn't mean the rooms in every house have insanely high humidity. For example in the middle of winter when it's dry outside in my comp class at school the humidity is so high that the wall paper is peeling. And it fry's the comps HD's (My school is retarded).

if you bought a waranty use it. if you didn't there might be scratches on the disk so go have it examined. also check you other maps. expecially the ark cuz those are the 2 i can't load anymore.

Unless to have no air conditioner, heater, and you keep all your windows open 24/7 then then the humidity inside is different.
