Anyway, I walked out to my driveway, and there's tread marks all over my street from cars driving in the ash that's fallen on the ground. The sky is also orange with smoke.
wow.. i wouldnt like that good thing i live across teh us from ya but i heard about that on teh radio something about how global warming could be taking affect and that we should stop poluting.
The sky over my house is filled with smoke, but its not red or anything, they look like clouds but you can see the sun clearly straight through these 'clouds'. I'm afraid to try and skate because of inhaling something floating around.
Earlier in the year...The sun was pink in bakersfield. I went down to movies and the sun was just pink. These fires happen every year, and it seems to me the californians dont care as much about it (unless you live near the fire) but the national news is filled with it.
Normally they're nowhere near this bad. There were (and still are, a little bit, but they've died down for the most part) entire neighborhoods that were going up in flame. It happened pretty bad in '03, but they didn't have to deal with the wind then. There were some parts of the county that the smoke was so thick that it was just black. You might've guessed it was nighttime, except for the fact that it was midday.
