The idea was that a Grunt and the Cheif are just standing, and all the sudden the Grunt feels something's just not rigt in this whole scene, but it seems the Chief is peacefull, and the Grunt fells like: "I don't think I should tell him what's wrong... I'd better off like what I am..."

Uhh you could have done a much better job of showing that. Perhaps by adding a scene? Maybe lots of dead covies and weapons scattered all around them? Maybe Chief and the grunt are in more "friendly" positions than just standing there talking to each other?

The laser model looks really bad. The laser itself looks really bad as well. The gun on his back isn't defined enough. Rendering on the chief looks rather bulky and thick. That last one might just be me, but it still doesn't look right.

On the back is a Halo 2 BR, and well...
I couldn't get a better model for the Spartan Laser.
As for the glow, I tried my best but I couldn't get it right...

This stuff was actually my first attempt at human style modelling, so I guess its not all that amazing compared to some of the stuff being posted but here I go anyway

Those are pretty old renders, so yeah those have been changed. Havent really touched it though since I started working on CMT SPv2 :/
