Importing Halo 1 maps into Halo 2

Is it possible to import the halo 1 maps such as sidewinder into Halo 2 and how would i go about doing such?

Why not? I was curious of this too. I realy want chiron and sidewinder back. I mean all we would need is the bsp and then have someone skin it if needed. Then place stuff like we normaly do. I think its possible just dont know how to do any of what I just said lol.

so then i take it that it IS possible just a pain to do? and skinning it couldn't i just use the original map skin?

if it was that easy then some one would have made released maps like this and made an app to make the process easyer.
