Though I agree with your point, the screen shot that I took was from the behind view of the guy that I shot and the bullet clearly goes straight thru the guy. It was just aggravating to clearly shoot the guy on my screen and it not register, it happened in halo 2 all the time.ScottyGee wrote:As for the sniper problem, if you're judging from the replay, it goes by client (as in your) actions and stuff unfortunatly, so you'd have to get the host's replay to see that you went wrong because I think thats what happened, you lagged or have abad connection and it didn't sync it...It just shows up on your side because you were behind and thats what was recorded.

Agreed, I actually tested this after reading your post the other day, I walked through the game on easy completely blowing off every enemy I could on co-op campaign, so I had another person with me, we beat the game on easy as fast as we could literately and it took us 3 hours and 40 minutes. We then did it on legendary because I did of course need the achievement :p, it took us both 7 hours . The mission Cortana and Halo were hard with all those flood on legendary! No way could someone even get close to 2 hours.Tural wrote:Second on the videos. You literally could not even run through the game, ignoring enemies, in two hours. So to say you played through it legitimately in that time is ridiculous. You can not prove you did such, and you'll make an excuse like "The videos are gone now, I didn't save them." How about you go do it again, since it only takes 2 hours.

can u name one....? i dont think someone uve never heard of would be any better than just a standard elite...killarzachary wrote:True, but their were other arbiters as well in the past.Tural wrote:That wouldn't make any sense. The Arbiter is one character. In multiplayer, you play as Spartans and Elites, not John and the Arbiter.killarzachary wrote:your not able to play as the Arbiter in multilayer.
Don't be.
And they all died. Arbiters are put in place for missions where they give their lives. Spartans go out to survive, Arbiters go out knowing they will die. They're essentially suicide bombers. They give their lives for their Prophets. Yes, there were others, but there is never more than one at a time. Playing as the Arbiter in multiplayer would be a massive plot hole, and it wouldn't make any sense. There is only one Arbiter in the game. To put that specific character in multiplayer would be stupid.killarzachary wrote:True, but their were other arbiters as well in the past.

Do Spartans shooting at each other make any more sense then that?Tural wrote:And they all died. Arbiters are put in place for missions where they give their lives. Yes it does. I shall not explain why.killarzachary wrote:Do Spartans shooting at each other make any more sense then that?Tural wrote:And they all died. I've found the pistol to be worse than Halo 2's...I never really liked Halo 1's too much, but 2's was ok pre-update...then it was made worse...Now in Halo 3 it shoots slowly and doesn't have a new sound, nor does it feel (at least to me) that it packs a punch or makes a better alternative to my double spikers.

H1's pistol was very useful because it had a scope, and it was strong. H2's pistol was good because its projectile had a headshot flag, and the gun shot extremely fast. H3's sucks because it doesn't have a scope, nor does it shoot fast.
I wish they would have used the SMG more in this game. The new sound is amazing, and the gun is actually useful.

Hey guys Here's my 'Complaint' post on bungie.net. Not really a complaint posts, but one that states the lack of polishing in game..:
Halo 3 seems like it's unfinished. Not in the kind of Halo 2, where everything was cut, but more in the sense of a lack of polishing. Lots of AWESOME things from the beta were removed and yet we have no idea why... the closest we find is that they never had time to finish it... or screwed it before they sent the game for printing... they could have REALLY used a couple more months in development. Where are RTR gone?Even Halo PC manages some without lag so don't make me think it's to spare CPU power...What about Distant gunfire? Remember how epic a BTB felt with gun fire coming from everywhere... but also beeing able to tell that it did indeed come from that place and most likely close to that friendly position... now it's just... gone. Can I even mention Distant gunfitghts coming from DISTANT REAL AI BATTLES? That one has yet to be heard of now huh? Frankie said that they were indeed generated real time by real AI fighting. /me has yet to find this ai OR a point generating such sound effect.
Music in campaign... where is it? Gun fire in campaign... not only is too quiet but at a point where I never noticed I had marines beside me in the whole game. unless they killed me with a grenade. Did bungie forget to revert espillon demo parameters while all sound effects were at minimum to emphazise dialog? seems so cause that's all you hear...Just the music itself. It's all remakes and while the E3 tune is good, all the rest seems to be merely remakes from Halo 1 (also a bit of Halo 2). Those remakes, even there, aren't as good as the originals. Just think of Brother in arms. How epic it felt escaping the Pillar of Autumn as you knew Keyes was getting olbiterated by the Covenant Armada...
Cutscenes, anyone? No wonder why the boys from D.A.M.N had to help bungie. While the models are infinatly more detailed, The mood, realism and feeling has yet to be shown. Halo 2's cinematics were probably one of it's better points. Good music match, atmosphere and engine-generated effects made it nice. Halo 3 is just... I don't know? I never felt the Urge of saving Johnson from the brutes on earth and merely felt sad when Miranda died. No sound effects but "poor" dialog didn't help...New Prophet voice isn't as deep as Halo 2's which realy sounded the way it is: the Younger prophet betraying all others... including Regret, Eldest Covenant Hierarch.
343's betrayals leans towards that: yet fun to kill, very repetitive and no where near emotional. Even Cortana didn't feel troubled... With all the hints given i the books and the 2 previous games, we could expect Cortana to posses something unique, Shocking... possibly even Rampancy...The cutscene that was apprently supposed to look like Halo 1's Silent Cartographer approach didn't feel 5% that epic. Samething when we actually 'Discover' that johnson couldn't de activate the shield...
Please bare with me, this is not a REVIEW of Halo 3 but merely a highlight of it's errors that, in my opinion, killed it's mood. It has alot of positive and certainly nets my top 5 all-time-all-console ranking.Mission design and the fact that for once, you don't wander pointlessly for 3 hours around your target helped alot. Multiplayer is great but also lacks that 'polishing', same thing for theater( No rewind? don't make me cry, NHL 2K7 has a replay feature akin to yours and it does allow real time rewinding( speed decided by trigger pull and while a simple hockey game is not a FPS, it shows it could have been done. 2 years ago.) and most definatly Forge which has some weird limitations reguarding starting weapons and world setup options.
