looks who's double posting.....

Its obvious why they changed these, it is weapon balancing and I think it has improved game play 1000X Times from halo 2....

Not well said, now your defending yourself. It's not about who shot first, go online and start versing really good players, you'll see, its not who shot first.

Well people, thanks for debating with me.
It's still weird that you were able to dual them, and then you can't.
Doesn't make sense but Idc anymore. I'm just happy Halo 3's out.

i would rather have no dual wielding and beable to throw grenades than have to drop a gun to throw a grenade and get corpse humped by some 12 year old because they assasinated me.
[edit]
read the books..you might gain a IQ or two.
Tecnically its impossible to gain an IQ, you can raise your IQ but an IQ isnt a phisical thing that can be obtained it must be raised.

Its called weapon balancing. Unlike halo 2 where certain weapons had very strong advantages now there basicly all even, no matter what weapon you charge in with you can win. Its all skill now instead of overpowered weapons and cheap tricks.
skill or not, you need to have weapons that overpower others, then you throw them in a choke point and have everyone running for them. why would i ever want to pick up a rocket launcher again if i could just school you with one smg? look at other FPS's they all have at least one overpowered weapon that everyone runs for like quake and the BFG. to me that is balance. not all weapons should be the same, that doesnt make for skill or better players, it's just who shot first.
You are going against yourself.... your saying theres no weapons that overpower others... then u say a single smg would school a RL.... obviously there are weapons that can overpower others, and you may be able to take down someone with a RL with a single SMG, but thats either because the RL is slow, or the other person simply has no skill. Balancing does not mean there all equally the same strength. Weapons have there pros and cons, they balanced these pros and cons so all the weapons are created equal. Where as you may be able to take down a guy with a RL with a single SMG you could also school someone with Dualed SMGs with a RL. Its Balanced, Unlike halo 2 where weapons like the BR were way over powered, and basicly every other weapon couldnt stand up against it.
Don't be.

I do find that it is a little too powerful, but that's why I keep using it.

yes the needler is a weapon worth picking up and making it undual wieldable is a very good idea. in halo 2 i emptied the entire magazine to kill someone now it's like barely half the mag. so i don't think you need to dual wield it. but the ammo is seriously scarce. and alot of the changes are better. but i want a scope pistol tho =( and ppl that say it's all about who shot first wins, is wrong. take the energy sword. you need to combine RT with B with timing to kill someone now, not just "hahaha i killed you with an esword cuz i have the quicker finger" the gravity hammer also needs alot of timing. if you hit too early you barely hurt them and they can kill you easily and too late you're dead.

umm i know good players, i used to do tournaments and playtest for microsoft on many occasions. it really is about who shot first when every weapon is equal. providing you can aim a weapon that is.

Have you seen the power of them?

If they made them duel-wieldable they'd be ridiculously powerful.

LEND ME MONEY WARLORD ;)

Seriously, if you were a playtester at microsoft (who didn't really get too much playtesting says bungie in h3 collectors edition well thats the impression I got) then you would have given said feedback.

Whoever shoots first thing is quite wrong though...That is what I believe one of the beauties of Halo 3 multiplayer, every weapon on the map has a use for certain situations and suck at others.

Technically, I could shoot first with the needler from long range, the other person could quite easily dodge it since there is time to get out of homing range and then kill me. I shot first in that scenario, yet in most cases (unless they are standing still) then I will lose that fight. I could probably write up a whole essay on this topic of weapon win/lose scenarios.
