(MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS) Halo 3 Dissapointments?
When I say balance their settings I mean their firing pattern settings and health settings.GametagAeonFlux wrote:...what?DRL333 wrote:They could have balenced the AI settings, like make marines balenced with grunts and jackals and elites balenced with brutes. That's the only thing in H3 that dissapointed me.

My real disappointment was campaign. Its obvious Bungie spent more time on multiplayer than campaign.
- Cant drive the second wraith
- Should have had more enemies in legendary, not power up Brute weapons. (For example, it only takes like 5 carbine shots to kill you)
- Physics (Warthog driving is a joke, if you run into something you fly halfway across the level, or when your hit with a brute shot you fly all over the place, or if you stick the warthog in multiplayer, it goes flying)
- Still the same o' BS from Halo 2. You shoot someone with a sniper and it doesnt hit them. (Since you can look at your games, you can see where your bullets fly right through them, I took a screenshot of a sniper shot going thru one of the other guys in multi, and nothing is happening) Saw my rocket get shot by the AR and blow up in my face. Stick people after dieing and they still live.
- I cant recall getting to use the banchee once in campaign? In addition, only one level where you can use the Hornet.
- Cant sit in the second warthog
- Cant sit on the side of the Tank, only turret
Ive got plenty more complaints, I am seriously considering selling my Halo 3, it is exactly like Halo 2. Terrible campaign, fun multi but too much BS, should have spent less time on graphics, and more on gameplay.

You couldn't drive the Wraith in Halo 1...just fire 6 Fuel Rod Cannon shots into the air. Bam, anti-air Wraith.
There are more enemies in Legendary. Weapons being powered up/firing faster has been in difficulty changes since Halo 1.
Never flown halfway across the level before, but I've "bounced" a bit, and even done a back flip after a high jump before. Brute Shot and Plasma Grenades should knock the Hog around a little bit...they are explosives after all.
Haven't seen the Sniper thing happen in Halo 2 or 3...you may just be barely missing and the contrail may look like it's hitting them, but I'll take your word for it. Rockets explode when they got shot by bullets...you could even make Frag Grenades explode in Halo 2 if you were a really good shot with the Sniper Rifle.
I'm not really a fan of aerial combat, so I didn't mind...but I can see your point there I suppose.
Yeah, I really didn't get why it didn't let you sit in the back of the Troop Hog, but I don't trust the Marines with driving me...so I got over it.
See above.

Bungie kept saying with halo 3 before it came out that you could actually go to the places in the background etc. Too bad the game was filled with invisible barriers and extremeley linear.
from CNN-
"i love water. i dont love drugs. i dont want drugs in my water..why on earth is hannah montana more important than this?"

It takes 16 shots to kill someone with the AR. You can kill 2 people with it in one clip really if they are on full health and you don't miss one shotsnakejknight wrote:the assault rifle is too week... it takes almost a whole clip to kill someone in mp... i like how it was in H1 allot better, other than that i wish they made the campaign longer.
overall i am happy with the game, very happy

I killed two people with one SMG clip when they had full health...and you can get kills in a lot fewer shots with the AR if you melee. The melees in this game have some serious power.ScottyGEE wrote:It takes 16 shots to kill someone with the AR. Yea. If you do get past the barriers there is nothing outside of the "Level" part. It sucks. Remember Halo and halo 2 when you got off the map you could walk around forever before going into the "nothiness" lolgalvination wrote:Bungie kept saying with halo 3 before it came out that you could actually go to the places in the background etc. Too bad the game was filled with invisible barriers and extremeley linear.

If you don't mind me quoting this long post I would like to state that I completely agree with you. There is a lot of BS that happens in Halo 2 and 3. Assault Rifle is garbage to me and on snow maps you can't even see your HUD cause of the lightness of the colors. I am not going to sell it but it seems like it will get old fast until they can come up with some updates or something. I quit playing Halo 2 for about 5 months because I was so sick of BS on xbl.noxiousraccoon wrote:My real disappointment was campaign. Its obvious Bungie spent more time on multiplayer than campaign.

Modding brought me back into it though.

That was horrible. I would be walking towards an objective and decide to jump over a hill; bam a wall.galvination wrote:Bungie kept saying with halo 3 before it came out that you could actually go to the places in the background etc. Too bad the game was filled with invisible barriers and extremeley linear.

For the wraith, I am just merely point out that despite its use I would still like to use it or atleast jack it in campaign.GametagAeonFlux wrote:You couldn't drive the Wraith in Halo 1...

My point about weapon upgrades, was its the worst out of all three games. Its kinda aggravating to have your shield fully gone after 2 or 3 carbine shots. It doesnt necessarily make the game harder, just more aggravating. I still beat it in less than 2 hours.
I threw the flying across the map out of proportion, but the physics are a little whacky in this game compared to the others, and its not very fun sometimes.
I havent tried loading the screenshot onto the internet yet, dont really care for it, but I saved the picture of one specific case that happened to me on the game, ill prolly upload it if you want serious proof. (The sniper problem) I understand rockets can be shot but its like WTF?
I was really looking forward to driving the Hornet and Banchee, but bungie decided otherwise.
About the troop hog, I was hoping on co-op you could get 1 person driving and the other three guys in the back, with a marine in the side seat, that would be fun.
DRL333, obviously I would like to sit on the side of the tank. I liked how it was in Halo 1 but they took it out of Halo 2 and I was hoping they would put it back in Halo 3.
1st bold, could you please put up your campaign finish for the levels of campaign for me so I can get them? I'd like to see what you did in order to finish the game in under 2 hours.noxiousraccoon wrote: I still beat it in less than 2 hours.
(The sniper problem)
As for the sniper problem, if you're judging from the replay, it goes by client (as in your) actions and stuff unfortunatly, so you'd have to get the host's replay to see that you went wrong because I think thats what happened, you lagged or have abad connection and it didn't sync it...It just shows up on your side because you were behind and thats what was recorded.
Second on the videos. You literally could not even run through the game, ignoring enemies, in two hours. So to say you played through it legitimately in that time is ridiculous. You can not prove you did such, and you'll make an excuse like "The videos are gone now, I didn't save them." How about you go do it again, since it only takes 2 hours.
I call bullshit on that.

Your profile shows that you've only beaten the game fully one time, and that one time took you 4 hours, 31 minutes, and 29 seconds. Over double the time you claim it took you. That's not even counting the cutscenes. Furthermore, most of them aren't even Legendary. On top of all that, you had multiple people in most games, shortening it even more.
How about you play through by yourself, on Legendary, then tell us your total time.
