ive done a few things with making items float in midair, testing the abilities of everything. ive only done this with the fusion cores so there are bombs dropping onto the field every 10 seconds (incredibly fun, btw), but all you have to do is stack 2 or 3 big boxes on top of each other, careful not to knock them over. After you put the boxes up on top, put the scenery items on top of the boxes, and let them settle in for a bit so they arent moving or rolling around. once they are in place, just delete the boxes underneath, and voila, floating items.
again, ive only done this so that there are falling bombs when they load in, but i think that you could make any type of item float... until someone shoots it, maybe

yea but for exapple you have a completely emepty map, just cuz... you can still only place like 5-6 air lifts even if thats ALL you have on the map, i think the ammount of each item on the map should determine how many of other objects, hell if i want 30 mongooses on a map and nothing else i should be able to do that. or if i just wanna cover a map in air lifts i should be able to.GametagAeonFlux wrote:You mean a limit to the number of things you can place? That's more of a memory issue...not much Bungie could have done about that.Th2mods wrote:i HATE how there is only a limited # ammount of things to use.

Tural, that wasn't fair and you know it. I wasn't attacking them or saying they stole any credit. I was merely curious and throwing the speculation out there that Bungie may have based their theme off our map editor. I wasn't trying to say they stole the idea as a whole, or even part of the idea. And GTAF, honestly: I figured you of all people would have known what I meant rather than attempt to call me out in a public forum. Forge is fantastic. Brother got Halo 3 today for his birthday (as well as the 360). And I've been playing and seeing it for myself, and I understand how different it is that Spark Edit (as did I before, and never did I try and state that Forge was ripping Spark Edit off)...
