That was basically what I was thinking when I said it.

Besides, only your head (or face, rather) Has to be submerged in order to drown. The whole rest of your body is available for burning.

Seriously someone putting oil in the water, and it being able to float to the top, then someone lighting it on fire while you are under the water.

Or another one would be being tied by your arms and legs up to four horses, one to one arm and the other to another horse, same goes for your legs. Then making the horses take off, then get sliced in two at the stomach region then get lit on fire and finally shot in the head after getting your ears cut off and your eyes cut out. That be would be torture, death with a pinch of hell.

Getting hundreds of cuts that do not make contact with any major blood vessels/viens. basically, you'd bleed out for days.

Pain would be like "OMFG OW" but drowning is the worst. You feel yourself slowly losing oxygen and brain power and you can reflect on your life. Best way to die (for you): Getting shot by a sniper you didn't know was there. That way, you die instantly, feel no pain, and don't know you'll die.

Someone stabs you, sticks your head in a body of water(and gets it to stay under in some way) while the rest of your body burns, as does your stab wound...

Also that shitty virus or whatever that eats your spine, and makes your posture start deforming up to the point where you look horribly scary must also hurt like a bitch.
