blank map

is there any way i can make or get a blank map like with no sounds no bsp's no butmaps nothing at all just the folders for stuff then add my own stuff as i go. cause there is a lot of stuff i want to add and alot i want to scrap from it completely. i want to redoa ll weapon spawn etc put campiagn objects in but the file size will be huge and i mean like over 100kb

You can't have a map with a structure and no data, I believe it would implode the universe. 100kb isn't that big either, if you mean 100MB, even that isn't that big for a map considering SP->MP conversions.

Yes you can..kind of atleast, just null all the sounds for the bsp, then go to the sbsp tag and null all the shaders in there, you can null scenery also, blocs, etc. I have never done this though, and the map's bsp will still have collision even though it'll be un-viewable I think.

he means he wants to remove all the tags from the map and start completely from scratch....

/me thinks i'll write an app to do this...course somethings would have to left in...eg sbsp + ltmp

...this reminds me of a theroy i had a while back for sbsp conversions (leave the sbsp and instead switch the scnr)

well im at 100kb mb w/e it is but i only added 1/5 of the stuff im going too i will need to wipe half me E drive just to ftp it so it would be a lot easyer to wipe it science when you add something it transfers everything need ex sounds models etc. and just start fresh.

Do you mean leave the bsp in the sp map, and switch the scnr to load as an mp map, and only load one bsp, or what?

Also why would you write an app on this, you can use h2guerilla if you want to control what you have in your map, just make sure that only stuff you want gets referenced.
