[PC] Graphics Problem / No Texture Color

Post by kin21_3 »

This has been answered on another forum before, but I've been unable to find it.

In Game, all textures that have multiple color types, appear as a bright grey.

Lighting doesn't work at all, though it's supported by my graphics card.

My graphics card 'can' run the game. I think I need to Un-Update it.. Roll-back to a previous update. Problem is, there's no roll-back on my driver, and I don't have the driver to change it back.

This is a problem that's been solved by many groups, before disappearing.

And I know someone must have the fix.

My graphics card; Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV

It runs the game file, but the textures are glitchy...
Signature exceeded 500x120 pixels.

If it hasn't always been like this, it's a driver issue. But if it's been like this since you installed the game, then your graphics card doesn't support all the fancy additions. IE: Decals, Specular, etc.

I'm going with the latter, since I had a similar graphics chipset on my older computer and it only ran Halo at the lowest of all settings. (And, everyones armor was white, save for MC in Campaign.)

That is an integrated chip set and don't perform well when it comes to most modern games.

I would suggest getting an Nvidia 6200 or better. It should be able to handle most modern games if its coupled with a decent amount of ram.
