Weapon changing mod?

I was playing on Xlink the other night, and I have good reasion to believe that someone eighter
a.) made a mod that changed to the secondary weapon (I.E. you swich to your Mag when you were beating someone down with a Sword when you didn't even hit "Y")
or b.) had a button mapper thingy (someone mapped their "Y" to your character (not sure if it could be done, but it's still an option))

impossible to mod, its called lag/overload.

you where probably killed by someone when that happened but since the host or you had a bad connection you dropped your weapon and switched to your secondary weapon. This happens to me a lot when too many people join the game.

how long where you alive for after switching to the magnum?
