HMT 3.5 Visor

Ok I know how to create a visor but when I try to import it through HMT it says that the image isn't DXT1 or something like that. Is there anyway for me to get a DDS DXT1? I've converted my bitmap for the visor through DXTBmp but it still says my image isn't DXT1.
