17, but I started playing years ago, so at the time, no.

Everything you'll ever need to know about me.
Need help with Linux, C#, C, Python, Java, PHP, Javascript, CSS, or VB? I'm available from 3:00PM-8:00PM EST on weekdays.
Yes, I agree. I think it's despicable what parents allow their children to do (I mean, seriously, 10 (or even 8 in the post a few above) years old and playing these games?) What's even worse is that instead of going outside and doing what "normal" kids do when they're 8-10, they're sitting inside on nice days doing unproductive things that will only (from my point of view) hurt them in the future. Are we going to have to redefine what is normal?theycallmechad wrote:I think I won't be having my kids play video games rated above their age. There's a reason the ratings are in place, in my opinion.

And yes. It's better to go out and play than to sit inside and game all day. Games are for recreation, not for hardcore (ab)use, lasting half your life. You could spend all that time on a girlfriend, work, enjoying the environments etc etc.
Just my 2 cents though ;p
(Damn - Haven't had a good english lesson in a while.. I'm making errors all the time :/)
