tool and dedicated server problems

#1my dedicated server wont find the init.txt file i made 1 and put in in C:\program files\microsoft games\haloce

#2 1 time i didnt use the init.txt i just typed it all in the litlle back box
and i couldnt find it

#3 that command promp thing wth is it and how do u use it

#4tool doesnt work it just pops up and then goes away
i found a thing but it says to use the command promt and i dont no how


#5 and how do u recompile map

1#: Post what you have in the init.txt file.
2#: You can't see servers you made from your end. You host it, but you don't see it. Also make sure you have the proper ports forwarded.
3#: Command Prompt is a CLI (Command Line Interface.)
4#: You have to open Tool with Command Prompt.
5#: What do you mean 'recompile map'. Please elaborate.
