Post by Ragdoll »

Microsoft is reportedly kicking illegitimate testers of its sci-fi shooter off of Xbox Live for thousands of years. Link Removed.

This isn't anything new. Usually when you get banned from Live it says banned until 9999.

It's their own fault. They shouldn't try to download something they aren't allowed to download. They are idiots for doing so.

Ha that's great! Think the account will be unbanned by that date or will it just be lost in time and space

Huh... Why would you want to be dead. We could mod halo 2 and 3 for thousands of years if we never died!

Very much so. An internet hour is practically a year, which means this is around 50 years old.

lolwut

Also, I removed that link because the site is linking to a site that we absolutely do not condone (Cheating site, etc).

I know the banning is old...But what are the details of this banning that's all I'm hearing. How did they circumvent things? How long did they play it for and stuff and was it good? That's what I wanna know :P

How did the eternal banhammer fall on Scar? "A friend said he got the Epsilon from a friend and offered me to glitch it onto my account with what you call the two-controller exploit," he told GameSpot. "I downloaded it from Marketplace and played it for maybe six hours or so all alone, in custom games and campaign. [Then] it would kick me offline every time i tried to play Epsilon. It wasn't until the next day when i signed on that I found out i got banned."
straight from the article scotty.

as for the fun part...its halo 3, how can it not be fun. :P

just goes to show how stupid people can be. It should be common sence that if you ever steal a game before the release date, dont try to go online with it.

I really hope someday they come to realize that cheating is NOT getting them a good reputation and I hope they do something to start it. That's one of the main reasons Zone started up team remapped again was to try and show all of the people there that you can do so much more with mods than cheat. We could then link to them and talk about them without getting in trouble.
