[PC]Cyborg Armor Permutation

Post by UPS »

I'm trying to make one of the armor varients from Halo 3.

So yeah... Here's what I got.
It isn't super good, but I plan on skinning it so it looks better as well as fixing up a lot of stuff.

It still needs a lot of work.

Yop. I just started it a half hour ago, so it isn't very far.
Edit:
Update. I think it already looks a lot better, but I have to fix the little funny parts sticking up by his neck. Accidentally set them back too far >.>

Hmmm... It's not bad, not bad at all. You still have the chest plate and the shoulder pads to change and skinning to do, but it's a good start.

There is a stray vert on the leg that I can't fix due to not having Milkshape. Would it be possible for someone to fix that for me sometime? I'd really appreciate it. =)

I've been tweaking the chest plate and everything, and I'm tryin to get it proportioned right. You can't really tell in those pictures though because of the original skin.

I kinda wonder why..
I heard character modeling was really hard... I think it's easier than weapons. xD

This is kind of spammish since I haven't gotten too much more done... But this really made me laugh...
But I successfully put MC in a thong (this was completely accidental... I was trying to give him the H2 pelvis armor...)
Thank you Sun for serving to censor the Master Chief. He sure doesn't care what people think about him anymore...

UPDATE:
I've almost finished the helmet. The only thing left to do (mainly) is reproportion the funky little vents so they conform with the model. I MAY attempt to make the front of the helmet more round, but I don't know how it will turn out, so I'll keep a few copies of this version in case I need to revert.

Also, thanks darklee. That picture will help a lot more concerning the waist-down of the armor.

It is getting near the first release me-thinks ^^

I spent a while on the skin, but I can't get it to get out due to experience. So, my friend is givin' it a try. Hopefully will have pic of it soon.

Edit: Well, can't get a very good skin goin'. (TY vm toa for trying =])
So, I need someone who can help skin this. Rawr.
