dunno but the only why to have multiples of something (eg warthogs) on a map is to transfer one from another map with insolence, but like i said it might work since its already been recreated...killarzachary wrote:Reallyxzodia wrote:killarzachary wrote:Is it extractable?i don't think it works with entity though so you'll have to use insolenceTransferable Between MapsWhy
what do you mean which hog is the snow hog? and yea you could make a race track but it would be a bit dumb racing snow hogs cause you'd effectively be racing tanks....RepaidREAPER wrote:is it posilbsl to make a race track out of this and what hog is the snow hog and good job 10/10 love it
WOW where the hell have you been?n64nerd wrote:Wow Xzodia, I never thought you'd actually finish it. It was cool to see this finally come to fruition. And it seems like you found out how to scale phmo's, too. Did you guys get Pelican attaching working? And did Snaku ever finish his lava map? Well, anyways, it's nice to see you guys are still working, and TLM's forums are still being used (kind of). This is such a blast from the past. Well, good to see ya dude.

Man,,,, can't wait to see your mod.MrMurder wrote:ahh the sppf works great but it wont work on my already heavely modded map sniff sniff.
if you could bro hit me up on msn and i wil send you the map then im hoping you could add it to my mod by hand.
once again some seriously dedicated and excellent work.
and I thought you were deadSnaku wrote:I never did finish the lava mod. There were a few factors that sort of caused me to lose interest: I'd hit a few walls in the modding I was trying to do and couldn't figure out a way past them (I needed to completely restart on my motorcycle after putting in a few weeks of work on it, etc), most of the guys I played with were pretty much sick of halo and I kind of was too, the 360 came out and I became thoroughly disgusted with how MS' game division works (never did get a 360--got a ps3 instead). Maybe I'll revive the aerial battle over a lava field idea for UT3 on ps3.
Anyway, it's cool to see that you're still doing this stuff, X. Writing aps to change the collision model. Sounds like you've come a long way. I remember back when we were tossing the snow hog idea around and we ran into the collision issue. Nice to see that you got it working.

I think it turns too much for thatSnaku wrote:Like I said, I just lost interest. Guess it woulda' been better to at least say goodbye or something.
Anyway, I just went and checked out your bike. Looks pretty good. Just a suggestion, you might try having the fork pivot instead of just the wheel. I kind of like the rocket launchers on the side; can't believe I didn't think of that.
yea, i remember that, i think the sliding around could be to do with value in the vehi...Snaku wrote:I'm trying to remember if I posted pics of the one I was working on back then. It had the fork (wraith) smaller and I used the torso bloc (think it's called torso--it was in some of the rooms in that one round mp map--it looked like a part of a sentinel) for the front of the bike. It even had a nice hole in the front to put a headlight in. I planned on using a grav hammer with no handle as the engine, but never could manage to get the custom model right. That, combined with the fact that couldn't keep the suspension from sliding around (still boggles my mind why it did that)
If I told you I could stop that would you start modding again?Snaku wrote:and that I needed to start over because I couldn't add any more turrets without breaking idents
so?Snaku wrote:combined to make me feel kind of overwhelmed. Halo was taking way too much of my time and yielded too few rewards.
Snaku wrote:So anyway, no I'm not really back. Just popped in to see how the scene was doing--seems to have slowed down quite a bit since the 360 came out.
