Choosing variations?

Howdie once again!

I'm using the HEV in my first upcoming mod (get excited everyone! ) and I know the HEV has two variations listed in the meta editor of the hlmt tag.
0 is the default variation, 1 has no doors.

How do I change it so I have no doors?

You are going to have to go under the "bones" section in the MODE tag and find the door and parachute and make the Z tag for them something around -50

theres a stringid in the vehi/bloc/scen (whatever it is) called Default Variation change that to the name of the variation without doors

Yea, the thing is, when i tired that variation, it DID NOT change anything ingame, if you have better luck, then more power to you.
