ahhh i don't put must effort into school yet i get As i seriously think that school is a waste of time.. and who here has flunked a grade?

Honestly, flunking a class is the stupidest thing you could ever do. Not only is it really sort of difficult to fail, it means that the entire year (or semester) was wasted for you. Why bother, it is good information you are getting.

So many people take school so lightly, like it's such a big waste of time. As for me, i'm glad i'm in school, and this sort of thing is offered (basically) free of charge.

im glad i go to school but theres always that sub conscious part that says party hardy "thats a saying round my school/ town"

School is orsm and fun and in most cases it can be harder to fail than it is to pass. Saying it is a waste of time is silly, not only are you learning your making friends and learning other skills too...Not that they are very high skills, you upgrade them later in life. People say its a waste of time, but then I see people...OLD people going to TAFE (like uni described below but has no requirements to get in [eg anyone can]) to learn/relearn the stuff they didn't get from the earlier years of their life.

I'm out of school now...I'm at uni (I'd say its your college equivalent but college is my years 11 and 12 of high school or something, so its the thing after

)

Been going for 6 weeks into the semester now...Pretty kool, some parts are extremly basic though...I get bored sometimes but ultimately its pretty kool and fun.

well never knew the US used that word in the 90's guess its hard to move on and find new lingo when you live in a small west tx town

I have. Six actually. Yeah I think school is a waste of time also.
Its completely useless because you only use about 1/3 of the stuff
you learn there in actual life. Excluding electives and career stuff.

Since I failed six classes, i have to be home schooled now, i don't know
if that could be a good thing or a bad thing. LOL

hold on that came out wrong. I have never flunked OUT of a grade. Just
got an F in a class. Well six classes but you get the point.

and yes, i know school DOES practically keep this world from spitwads
and poo flinging in the war...

finally back from school, i learned one thing today. i have possibly the meanest and weirdest teachers of the 7th grade. i already have homework

lol iv taken 2 years of Spanish, 1st year i re learned the basics since the last time i had it was like 4th grade lol, 2nd year i watched movies and did nothing, now im not taking Spanish 3 or 4 maybe as a senior but not this year.

I'm taking Spanish 3 next semester, mainly because colleges like more years of Spanish, even though the minimum is 2.

ya i know at Texas atm if you take Spanish 4 you get a credit towards college, so thats one less year of Spanish in college.

Dosen't have to be Spanish. Might as well take something worthwhile like English (I mean, honestly, everyones going to be speaking it as a common world language soon.. it practically already is). Actually I don't know, but I know my brother in college is taking French, he took 3 years of Spanish in High School as well. I only took 2.

i don't think its recommended depending on what state your in and what degree you going after, I know in Texas its usually mandatory but my sis got a business degree and didn't have to take any.
