Seriously, similar elements do not make two things identical, nor does it mean one stole from the other. Of course there will be very clear matches between the two, there's only so much you can do with a genre like this. I bet one could find 5 other games with major similarities, that does not make anything "a rip" from anything else. Even if they did use an idea or something, if they can make it better when the original creator had no intent to further satisfy their customers, so be it. New developer: 1, old developer: 0.

Nothing is original content, ever.

I don't know anything about "warhammer," but from this post, it seems like it would be a bad game. The only people who have something to prove are those who are worse off. The only logical reason I can see for coming here to say that is that you are:
A) A fanboy, B) Upset because WoW is better than the game you like, or C) Uneducated on the logic of the entire matter.

warhammer is an RTS, WoW is an MMO. so explain to me how WoW is a rip from warhammer. Actually, last I checked warhammer was originally a tabletop game.

They ripped from warhammer because most of the models are similar in that small way.
WoW Stole from many things as this has been proved by warhammer players and elite players.

The Time is the same EG Similar looking swords. ETC
and no it isnt a bad game its one of the best RTS and board game Ever.

There has been a long time rivalry between warhammer and world of warcraft players FACT. myself im a warhammer 40k player not warhammer but this is what ive seen/heard. And galvanation ther is a game called warhammer mark of chaos its execllent

Im not sure why this is so addicting to people. I bought it a couple weeks ago, and I can't play more than about an hour before I get bored. Am I just not far enough into the game?

Like i've said, it's fun but not addictive. I have played it at most 3 hours. It get's boring after that long of continuous gameplay.

Every game with swords is a rip from Warhammer. Truth. I heard it on the internet. In fact, any game with any anything is a rip from Warhammer. Warhammer is the only original content ever. Everything is copied directly and solely from it alone. Confirmed. Ship it.

I was a blizzard nut because of the Warcraft series. So it was natural I took a dive into the online version. Have a 70, have epics, yadayada, haven't raided because I'm now wondering what else to do with my time.

If my friends weren't on it I would either delve into starcraft, Age of empires or relearn some other bloody fighting game on my dusty console. Or I can play my girly sim game and make people self destruct or die.... But that's another story.

As for the whole warhammer debate, eh... everything is stolen from something else. Nothing is truly original. A little something I learned as an artist. Doesn't make it right, but doesn't make it unusual.
