Hey New Age I felt your pain lol. You put it in the File Formats folder. I was confused, too, since my BusinessEdition had just 1 plug-in folder but now that I have PS 7.0 I had to try a couple out. Hope this helps. GL
P.S. make sure PS is closed when U add it or reload it after so it can configure.

What the hell was that?

I have the same thing (photoshop cs) dont put it in any of the folders!! copy it then go to plugins and paste it there ( there are ten folders in your plugins directory, the dds file should be the only one out side of those folders, INSIDE YOUR PLUGINS DIRECTORY!!!!New Age wrote:where do i put it.. i know in the plugins folder but there are many folders inside the plugin folder.. so i put it in each one and no dice![]()

Works fine in PaintShopPro 8
- just put it in the main Plugins folder.
But can you do something about the popups? Every time I Browse a folder of dds files, I get a popup tellimg me about MIPS for every pic, and it's slightly beyond annoying

Of course work sucks - that's why it's called work. If it was fun, it'd be called play, and we'd get $4 million a year instead of $6 an hour.

Mac version
Is this compatible with Photoshop 7.0 for Mac? Is there a program or plugin with which I can accomplish the same thing? Note: I have a PC, and I use Halo PC, so I could run a windows dds converter or something, I just don't have Photoshop for windows.
Thanks
Thanks
