Please help me. -Trouble with Converting non_A BSP-

Post by Templar »

I am VERY sure I did it right, but I still get a seek error...I have no idea what is wrong, here is a picture I took. I highlighted the PSBS. Did I count back right? Or what? Because I have no idea what is wrong...

You have to go back 16 bytes from that VALUE, but in the text part it's just 16 spaces :P and just change that value there to "0008 0000".

it easiest to compare the meta of the orig scnr of the map you are conveting and just put 008 0000 in the spot where it is in the original scrn

this time do it with Hex workshop. if 4.1's expired, uninstall, and get 3.1.

'memory' refers to capacity in RAM chips, not on the hard drive....

so reboot.

but dont get it confused with the "out of memory" problem. it occurs when you screw up something on the conversion. I think it happens when SE has a problem loading an object so it keeps trying... and overloads it's allocated RAM.

and Ice, I thought you had 80 gigs left!

Yeah, he's right, programs are programmed with a maximum thread usage (processor and memory) so if it exceeds, you'd get that error, doesn't mean that your system is out of memory...
