It looks fun and all, but I think making it 360 only was a bad business move. I mean, it's cool that they're trying to show that RTS games can work on a console...but it would be so much better on the PC.

I think it looks amazing. Everything looks real and more importantly, Halo.
I think that it might be the first and only RTS I'm gonna play. :P

I just want to know how they got those scorpians over that gap. :?

I totally agree, I wouldn't want to play an RTS on a console, although I'm sure they've made it really easy to use, I'd much, much rather play it on PC.

Yeah, i've never been a fan of FPS's on a console, but i'd much rather play an FPS on a console than an RTS. PC is simply the best platform to play RTS's on, sort of without any uncertainty.

They tried RTS on the console with C&C3 and that game, in my opinion, was horrible. I really hope they can make this happen, and if not, just release it on the PC...please.

I watched it now, and there are many instances where the controller just doesn't work as well as a mouse could. The entire selection process has to be made fairly annoying since you seem to have to move the entire screen to where the unit is instead of just being able to flick your mouse over to a corner and click and tell him to fly somewhere else, also fairly quickly. There also doesn't seem to be a selection box, only that little paint brush which does the job fairly weakly.

The only benefit is that they can tune the game to the console instead of trying to make it balanced for a variety of systems... but that's not worth it (and also true for any game, so it's sort of irrelevant)

Command and conquer 64, red alert psx, red alert expansions etc etc. There have been quite a few RTS's on consoles.

The way they've done Halo wars does look pretty kool for a console. Notice the for a console.

I'm a big fan of RTS games, it'd be the best on the pc (which I believe will go to later anyway, even if its 2 years later id probably still buy it). But yeah I'm looking forward to this, especailly since the whole thing was designed for console, unlike cnc3.

Anyone else notice the build times for a warthog? O_O *click* 1 second later, WARTHOG READY

The way the designer's voice speaks is as if he had been drinking the night before.

Would you really want to watch him sitting there for 10 seconds or however long the real build time is? :|

I meant the 360 people...geez. Never played any of those games on past consoles...

I'll probably just put this game on the rent list for now...

I don't really like the look of it, RTS aren't my thing anyways. If it was on PC I'd play it. It would be the first actual game I would have played on my computer. =x
