lil bit of help needed.
Re: lil bit of help needed.
If you cloned them...they are going to be right on top of each other. Just pick up the road cones in the bsp viewer and move them.flip_skater14 wrote:mk im makn a mod and i need more road cones in headlong. now ive cloned them all. and now only needa move em around. but they dont show up in enity's bsp viewer. any ideas on how to move them another way or gettin to show up in the bsp viewer.

now the raod cone is a bloc i think )i dont have my headlong.map with me so i cant check) but make sure you cloned more spawns in the scnr tag. and as kibito87 said:
let me explain that with a bit more detail. for example if you had 20 cones spawning at the xyz co-ords of say:
x: 5.4525349
y: 45.3254370
z: -9.678797
then you will only see one cones, but there are actually 20 there and even if you only click that mouse once, all 20 will be selected, or at least a vast majority of them. there are 2 ways to fix this.
1: go to the scrn tag and go to meta editor. find the spawn coords somewhere in that list for the headlong cone (again i cannot remeber what pallet it will spawn under, someone may be able to fill you in) and you will see all your chuncks for the cones. go though the chunck list and move each cones z spawn up 1 whole digit. so if the first cone chunck you see has the z-coords of say -9.456743 then the cone chunck after that one would be -8.456743. do this for evey spawn. check the bsp viewer and you should see them all piled upwards.
2: alot easier, go to the bsp viewer, astertain which cone you actually cloned by using the process of elimination. click each cone twice (once to selct the whol bunch of them and again to deselect only one cone) if the cone has a red rectangle around it on the first click but it then disappears, that is not your cloned cone. if it has a red rectangle around it on the first click, and continues to have a red rectangle around it on the second click, that is your cloned road cone.
also, make sure in the bsp viewer that you select a spawn to appear. in other words, if you wanted to say view the player spawns on the map, make sure the "player spawns" checkbox has a check in it. i hope this last paragraph is not your problem cause i just typed all this stuff for nothing.
if it still doesnt work even after all this stuff, you did something wrong.
if you select one of the road cones while they are all spawning at the exact same spot, one click will select multiple spawns. If you cloned them...they are going to be right on top of each other. Just pick up the road cones in the bsp viewer and move them.
