I used to fill cups with icecubes and put it next to my gamecube way back in the days, it stopped it from overheating though. First off why would someone put their power supply in the water, isn't it the 360 that overheats...

That kid was an idiot, he should have just put his whole xbox in the freezer instead. :wink:

The right thing to do was to just leave it in a wwell ventelated area for about 6 hours and he would have been good.

Wow. Just wow. If he wanted it to cool, he should have just turned it off for a couple hours and let it be, off to do something else.

Submerging it in water was just an idea that I have no idea how he got.

He needs a strong Air Conditioning unit. I suggest Meat King 5000, not only can you Hang meat in your living room. it keeps your xbox nice and cool at a chilly 15 degrees.
