Where are the older map files?

Post by Kewlkyle64 »

First of all, I'm sorry for all the threads I've started today. It's just that I got my modded Xbox today and I've gotten over excited.

Second, how do I get to the orginal map files via FTP (like Ascension, Coagulation, Zanzibar...?)

Thanks!

Well if you have ftp access, you can put your Game disc into your xbox, and go into the D drive, then maps, and they're all in there. If you've copied the game to your hard drive, then it's probably in E/F:\Games\Halo 2\Maps. If you haven't got ftp access, then go to www.xbox-scene.com

Alright, but how do I get to the dashboard with the game still in there? If I leave the game in, then it launches. Even when I turn the auto-launch feature off.

Turn on your xbox without the disc inside and wait for your dashboard to load. Then insert the disc and wait.

It should. Make sure auto-launch disc = off then scroll down and hit "Save and Exit".

Then, restart your xbox. Once you have your xbox restarted, it should work.
