Help! Failing to load the map [Lockout] and [Coagulation]

First off, just because he is totally screwing with his DLC folders, doesn't automatically mean he's modding them on live. He was having a problem loading Lockout so he renamed them. Then he wanted to know what he could play on live.

Dan, don't mess with your downloadable content folder. Remove your softmod to play on xbox live. If you need to, re-download the maps and see if that fixes your lockout problem.

First off, I DON'T MOD ON LIVE! I TRY to mod on KAI but that i can't even do that cuz i'm a noob, and you're right it's not the map's fault but the update folders fault!

Ok, my point is I can't load lockout on live because of a modded dash and if i do load lockout on live then i can't have warlock and all those other maps! Any ideas? thanks
You put the new maps on your Xbox.

NEW maps? what new maps, i just want lockout to load. Lockout is an old map...

And if you just want to go back when lockout wasn't working just add lockout2 to your mainmenu and it will load fine. It is not the maps fault that it does not load.

Just do that and it will work fine.

Well it doesn't work just fine because it's added to the mainmenu and it says failed to load but when i rename update folder it works fine but then i cannot play other maps, i want to play on xbox live, NOT MOD ON IT....i'm playing off the disc not the dashboard

Ok, someone please tell me how to do this, I just want a clean copy of halo 2 on my xbox in case i lose it in the future or something, then i'm going to put the mappack game in there and get the new maps, I want to be able to play them on live, but lockout keeps failing to load. Do i need to delete $C and $U folders?
