They rally only "hate" the people who are making money off it, or the dorks that cheat on Live.

About Halo 2- Bungie seems to have noticed Mimesis - shortly after one of the people on the mimesis team tried out a map on Live before it was released, they released an autoupdate (1.1b) that disallowed using any non-Bungie maps on the menu, but then in 1.5 they re-allowed using custom maps offline.

Incorrect. Bungie had a news article directly talking about HaloMods.com.

Oh my. I remember that article from back in the day :o

Weird. The point to this topic was to say Microsoft allowed modding and now you noticed they didn't. So is there still a point to this topic?

It's more of a crappy copy and paste of the the top two articles on this page really.

Anyway, technically, what we're doing doesn't break their rules,
You can
Halo 2 Prophet - Skin with ease with the simple 3D point and click interface.
Halo 3 Research Thread - Contribute to the research into Halo 3.

but that's two things that we are doing wrong, that doesn't help! also, would bungie arrest me if they knew i was doing modding not even for cheating?
92% of teens have moved on to rap. If you are part of the 8% who still listen to real music, copy and paste this into your signature.
