Cement Blocks

Post by MiKeHuNT »

Ok how do you spawn objects on the map so that there always there, (Example) the Containment race track bridges. The cement blocks on headlong by the palm trees next to the water, i want to set them up like in a line to keep people on course in my race track so if they try to take a shortcut or something they just run into one of the cement blocks.

- Help Anyone

they are indeed. You could use some other scenery tho. You want a SCEN tag item and you need to give it collisions. You could also use a mach tag, its just finding something that wont move and looks like a barrier.
If you miss your Aperture Science weighted Companion Cube, put this in your signature.

use those exploding barral things so if they try to take a shortcut it would blow them up

nvm it would make an explosion all the way down the track

The Relic dune gates would work fine. Just delete the Health/Shields reflexive.

It's in dune.map, obviously. Mach tag. It looks like a pink, rectangle plasma shield.

You NEED to be using Entity for all this. There's a link to download 1.6 in the tutorial below.

Use this tutorial to add it to your map, then open the chunk cloner for the gate's hlmt, select the Health/Shields reflexive and and press Delete Reflex/Chunk.
