AIRBALL: best pb mod eva
This is a map i created about a year ago but i never released it.
So =EP_daj349= present airball: the newest and best Halo Ce Paintball mod
Now with:
MOUSE/TRIGGER WALKING LIKE A PB GUN
There is a bit of realism here like:
no melee
no nades
"mouse walking"
REAL bunker layout i got from a NPPL tournament. (National professional paintball League)
Everything in this map was created by Bungie or me:
textures
models
bumpmaps
sounds
HUD
reticles
projectiles
scenery
ect you get the point
Thanks to all the tutorial creators out there and to Rec0 and Masters1337 for answering my questions on MSN or Xfire.
especially =EP= Gamers for helping me beta test last year and today just before i released it.

the puny part of the models is partly my animations fault of where i positioned the idle.Andrew_b wrote:i like everything except the neon colors for the scenery, and the hud...
everything else is nice...but the guns seem a bit puny. like narrow, i dont know your pics are down for me so im doing this off of my memory.
what could i improve on the HUD?
and paintball bunkers are usually neonish like that
i could have definitely made better skins now that i think about what i could do with them...

i have never played any other paintball mods that were any good in total maybe i have never seen yours
alot of them have a few good things like maybe an animation or model but no textures or sounds etc. you get the point.
i tried to even it all out.
about the HUD
i understand you don't the the "circle" (reticle) but some poeple are too laggy in online play to see the projectiles (where they are shooting basically)
that is one of those things where i would have but the game restricted me.
another example is one hit kills.. that makes terrible game play.
and about the textures, they have a little depth to them like weaving of the nylon but it is hard to see. i just kinda slacked off on that one. i was originally gunna bumpmap them like the floor and walls are but i dont think i could figure out how to bumpmap scenery shaders or if you even can.
