Is this a hint that the cheif meets his end in Halo 3?
Is there any other evidence for it that you've found?
Do you think he should die?

It can't be that it's the end of the story arc, and it's OUR world by playing Halo 3 and buying it a lot.

There are no spoilers in the ad. The ad agency does not even know what happens at the end of the game. They are just using "flavor."

Nice find spartanx
Disregarding this ad, I think that there is a good chance that the cheif will die in the game. In an archetypal hero story, the hero must make a sacrifice for the greater good, many times that sacrifice is his life. So far, Halo has followed that archetypal journey with the cheif. Also, in the past 2 halo games, that sacrifice has been made, but not with the cheif. In Halo 1, the marines (or most of them) on Halo were killed to prevent the Flood from spreading. In Halo 2, Cortana was left on High Charity so as to destroy the Halo. So even if the MC doesn't die, there is a high probability that someone important will die in Halo 3.

That's why she stayed in the system, but she got left because Chief didn't have time to take her out, he had to get on the ship.

I'd put my money on the Arbiter dyeing.

lmao. I didn't even think of that. That would be amusing, yet disappointing. And I bet MC rapes the arbiter. Like hard.

Uh, no. He is likely a Spartan-I. There's nothing that points to whatever you're talking about.

Yea, sorry about that I got confused when looking into it, he is mostly likely a Spartan 1 as Tural stated.

Um, what this says to me that the cheif may not die, but after everything is done people will speak of his heroic actions, but that sounds lame to me though. But, I wouldn't be suprised if he did die.

I doubt he'll die, but he might get close to death.
And in Halo 1, I thought the Heroic sacrifice was Commander Keyes?

Anyway, I'm guessing as well that the Arbiter dies.
I really don't see a place for him after Halo 3... :/

Keyes didn't really sacrifice for anything. :|

Not necessarily a "Heroic" sacrifice, but a general one.

More of a "loss", if you will.
