as far as i know north vietnam isn't donig well. oh, and russia's communism didn't work in the end, there ended up being a revolution/upheaval of govt., which is why the cold war ended.
i admit i don't know much about communism, i haven't read any papers on it or the communist manifesto, but i'd like to say that i believe this quote holds true for any government:
"power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." -hell if i know
in my own opinion, a stable government would need to have a way to distribute the power of government across a bunch of people. no political parties, everything just turns into a contest. no president, just a series of houses to review bills and handle other issues. electing and forcibly removing these officials would be handled by a vote of the people, and votes would be overseen by multiple organizations completely different from another.
now, i don't think that as it is would work well at all. but my main point is that because power corrupts, the entire power of the government should be spread on the shoulders of many, many people. this way, maybe there won't be enough power vested in each individual to dangerously corrupt them. of course, overseeing these people in government should be handled by the citizens, so they, as a whole, have an affect on government.

ASPARTAME: in your diet soda and artificial sweeteners. also, it's obviously completely safe. it's not like it will cause tumors or anything. >.>

woo
I don't think any government can be perfect, but communism would work if i could kill anyone who got corrupted.
BTW I'm 17 and i had to do lots of research about governing systems.
