I'm trying to get rid of the campaign option on my main menu since I deleted all the campaign maps (since I just play mutiplayer) so the campaign option serves no purpose.
Is there anyway I can delete the campaign option? I did it on my Halo 1 but it's not the same way to do it on Halo 2...I don't think. At least I can't figure it out how.
any help?

it's been awhile, but if i remember right it was editing something in ui.map I tried doing this about a year or so ago on Halo 2 and I couldnt get it working. So I said screw it. That was actually the last time I was on this site. heh.

If you get rid of campaign, get rid of live too...

The AI revision had both the campaign and live options not available, so it must be possible.

They were available, just not visible. The hex was probably replaced with spaces.

were they selectable? If they aren't selectable, and are invisible that's good enough for me! Yeah getting rid of Live and Campaign...

They were selectable. The text wasn't there, but you could still highlight and select it.

this sounds good enough. Is there a tutorial on it? I have done zero halo 2 modding only halo 1 (and the extent of that was the main menu)

Just open the mainmenu in a hex editor.
Blu and
Alius Bos both work well. Search for the string you want to edit, Campaign for example, and replace it with spaces. Make sure the length is the same as the string before you edited it.

It's been asked over and over for a long, long time. Nobody has ever come forward with a real, true solution.
