Getting Started, Need help

Ok So I have Some experience in Dothalo and a little modding but thats about it, i want 2 know where do i get started beacuse i want 2 become a serious modder, as in creating my own maps. if not creating then seriously editing,as in adding parts 2 maps, new warp pods,Hunters(brutes) actually fighting along side teams, learning how to make AI in Maps And Actually Having Them Fight Well. Instead of Running Around Crazy. Can Some One Point Me In The Right Direction?
