banshee sc
yes that is the correct program. i will walk you through it. it is easier to use halo map tools, but i think it would be better for you to learn how to do it in a hex editor, because . open hex workshop and your sc map file. now, you will want to open up iron forges offset list for sc. now under the vehicles category, you will find the warthog offset, along with identifier, value, and mets. we are only looking at the offset. press ctrl + g in hex workshop, and put in the warthog offset. the offset is an adress of information, and putting in its offset will take you to that part of the file containing the information. now you want to look for the banshee VALUE in the offset list. you want to type that value in over the first 8 digits after the place that hex workshop took you to when you put in the offset for the warthog. now just save and quit, and start up halo. foe hammer will drop off a banshee instead of a warthog. if you have wuestions just post i will answer.
thank you for actually posting something that's potentially helpful but my problem from here is after i press ctrl+g and paste the offset for the warthog and press go, nothing happens, doesn't go there, doesn't move, nothing, am i supposed to change one of the radio buttons? still doesn't seem to do anything.
there are actually tutorials you just didnt look hard enough. but your welcome for the help. i think thats what halomods forums was really about, people helping each other out to acheive new things in halo. that doesnt happen anymore. nobody cares about you or what you know, they only care about making something on their own and getting full credit for it. you know what makes monoxidec, grenadiac, and iron_forge so great? they contribute so god damn much to this cummunity. not only have they made great mods or whatever, but they have helped people understand halo and how it works, allowing more great accomplishments to happen. i dont know, maybe its just me, but it seems like those three are pretty much the majority of those who really contribute to the modding community. anyone else that has helped out other people, thank you.
