banshee sc

Post by casper »

yes i know this has been asked before and i've read the posts on it, but i want to replace the warthog on silent cartographer with a banshee. yes i am a n00b, but please help me understand how i would go and do that using hex workshop. i've read other posts and so far it doesn't make sense. if anyone knows of a tutorial with screenshots using hex workshop, that'd be great.

Download HMT v3.5, that would be so much easier. Once you do that, I can help you.

With Hex Workshop, open the Map and an offset list. After that in the offset list go to vehicles. Copy the Warthogs OFFSET and go into Hex Workshop and use the find feature to locate it. After that, just type in the Banshee's VALUE. There, Erno, if you can only use HMT3.5, you suck...

nvm, I'm wrong, i thought there was a way that didnt inlude just switching the offset list. If I figure it out, I'll let you know. Until then, someone else will have to tell you.

you're gonna need the offset list of silent cartographer. where ever you get it from, highlight the offset, copy it into the find feature like he said, and then change the value listed for the warthog to the value listed for the banshee.

on my hex editor it's CTRL+F
or you could go to search...find
copy and paste the offset, the number you typed
then on the offset list it showes the value of warthog, which should be the same as where you pointer is, now type in the value listed for the banshee in the spot where you see the warthog value.

In SE, there's actually three Banshees and two Ghosts. But they don't appear in-game. Weird.
