It will probably make the 2nd player party host, then that would grant them access to the camaign difficulty.Racka_Tacka_Joe_Enos wrote:why dont they just make Coop harder so that if one of the players leaves the other player the game is too difficult for the one player to progress.
I aslo love how you play as the demon through the whole thing instead of switching back and forth, with the dervish.

I say 90 player online Co-Op. j/k.
Anyways, It would be pretty hard to implement 4 player co-op. Imagine Halo co-op. With idiots, They keep on going back and forth through the same checkpoint, spawning you in it over and over again. Or just as you are in the middle of an awesome battle, someone accidentally triggers a checkpoint spawning you somewhere else. It would be annoying. They should just stick to 2 player online co-op, and no more.

While I agree with the 2 players, those scenarios would be better solved by not teleporting players. Those issues are not at all relevant to the number of people in a game.HPDarkness1 wrote:I say 90 player online Co-Op. j/k.

That sucks bibit, it was really fun. I would like them to have 4 player co-op, but if it going to be shitty, don't include it. Maybe if there are 2 versions of co-op mode. Like how in Halo 2, if you play co-op some of the first cinematics are not there. Like so 2 player co-op is for the story, and 4 player co-op just for fun, no real story or anything. I mean, like the same game play, maybe a bit harder, but the cinematics and such don't have to make sense.
OFFTOPIC: I was like, "Yeah, the beta is over, but I'll just play Halo 2...." I couldn't go back.

And Bungie has publicly stated that they don't want to do that sort of thing.bibbit wrote:And?
Also, I'd like to restate this:
And add to it as well:Tural wrote:There's really nothing to discuss here. They say they might have online co-op. They've been saying that for months. What difference does it make now? They didn't say they would not have it, and they did not say they would. You're basing an entire discussion on an assumption for which you have no evidence to support. There is nothing to say other than "I hope they [do/don't] have it online."

Bungie has no comment on the status of online co-op in Halo 3 at this time. We'll let you know when we have something to say. In the meantime, I shall continue to enjoy watching the Internet spazz out over something some bloggers trolling for website hits wrote. The amount of debate you guys can go through with zero actual facts is quite amazing.
