SO what are we all gonna do when H3 comes out

Considering I preordered from Best Buy, and they decided it'd be cool to not ship items until after the release date, unlike their competitors, which ship so that's when it arrives, I have a dilemma.
I paid $100 for Legendary Edition, saved $30.
Do I wait the [up to] one week to get it in the mail?
Do I pay $15 more and get it on the 27th? (One day processing, one day shipping)
Or do I cancel the order online and go preorder in store and end up paying the full price, with tax?

The first two scenarios mean I basically have to avoid the internet for multiple days, as well as avoid Halo discussions so as not to ruin the story.

Gonna invite my friend over to my house so we can do Co-op on single player... when we beat it, we're gonna play multiplayer. Then maybe go to a massive LAN party =]

You can make a new rule for the forums for like a week, saying "NO1 TALKZ BOUT T3H H4LO 3 TIL I GeTS MAI HAlO 3 1St". That way you can be here all you want and no one will ruin if for you.

I think the extra $35 is worth it just for the whole midnight launch experience. I actually had a lot of fun waiting for Halo 2 and meeting/talking to people. And there's that sense of satisfaction you get by getting your copy that late and being able to bring it home and play it. It's awesome.

Also, avoiding the interwebs for two days would be pretty frustrating if you knew the only thing holding you back was Halo 3.

There was a leaked EGM magazine that stated there will be a map editor/builder built into h3. I don't know if they meant PC or Xbox. For Xbox it would be hard to find textures haha unless you use premade ones, but it would be cool to have one like THPS's Skate Park Editor only more Sapien like.

Anyways I plan on playing h3 when it comes out, and then mod it =x

I'm going to TRY to get it on launch day and only get on my internet for email, wait for the first weekend after launch, and then go over to my friend's house and play it through in (as close as I can get to) one sitting. Of course, food and bathroom breaks are needed. ;P

Because I'm sure they could have been talking about Halo 3 PC in the magazine. Right. Because it's been announced and all. Mhm.
It is a map editor, not a map creator. You can not modify the models, textures, etc. It is for moving, duplicating, removing, creating, tweaking values and so on.
