You have to copy and paste the url, the apostrophe screws up the link.

I have vowed to never play any MMORPG. I tried one once, Vendetta Online (like EVE, but more fun because the community is just that size that you know everyone after two weeks, but you can have a good game still), but I didn't think it was worth it to pay the around 10 dollars a month. Just not my style.

Sorry but to me it seemed pretty gay. I've played it once and disliked it, I'm glad it was one of those trial card thingies. But paying per month isn't something I wanna do at all. Sure you could argue its what I do for xbl...but at least thats global and not restricted to one game.
The only MMORPG I wanted to play but not pay was matrix one...If only crackdown turned into a MMORPG
That'd be one I'd be interested in. Big city, other crazy players. 10 teammates picking up vehicles and throwing it at some "boss" would be classic
Woops, this is about WoW....I don't paly it but some of my friend are addicted, unfortunatly

Thats the one thing that amazes me. What makes rpg's so good is that you get to develop your own character in ways that you like them, essentially creating your ultimate person...So where is the fun in paying someone to do that for you? 'Wow, I'm l;evel 70...now what?"GametagAeonFlux wrote:My friends farm it (make accounts, get characters to 70, sell, repeat). It's sad, but they actually make a lot of money. I run a private server for them so they can test builds and such...I tried playing it, and even with GM powers I couldn't enjoy it.
Its like buying a colouring in book pre colourd in...Or buying a 1000 piece puzzle which is already made...
Well Scotty WoW is way different from a coloring book.You play it, get to a lvl 10, start to get hooked, get to a 20 and be a lil powerful, crave more power and lvl up everyday like 3 times, get to a 70 and be sad you wasted a few months of your life, and make another character cuz you think you can lvl it up fast which you can.

I play it, but I never let it get in the way of things. There are far better games (hell though, if there was a World of Starcraft, i'd play that forever
)
Maybe I should sell my character...
EDIT: Scotty is esentially right, and i'd never buy a character for the exact same reason-- It's no fun. I leveled my character up to 70 and quit immediately. All that's fun to me is screwing around, which is what I did all the time I leveled up. It was slow, but hell did I have a lot more fun than what half the other people do.
Yeah, I PVP. But I PVP with all greens and blues just to prove the point that you don't frickin need all tier 6 to be okay at PVP. Of course, I usually play to lose.
