Finish a new model/mesh? Got something you're working on? Finish a new map? Here's the place to post it for feedback and whatnot.

Importing Models?

Post by Ang88 »

I want to import a model of a rock, it does not have the same amount of vertices, it has less
when i try to import it , it says that the model must have 1 sub objects, and it says mine broke in to 52 sub objects

how do i fix this?

ps: this is all part of my master plan to create a new map without using the sdk

If your significance is that but significant then is there another with significance?

its for PC
i am importing a totaly new model of the rock
i just remade it will exactley 187 vertices like the a50 large rock in blood gulch
it now says that there are to many vertices or indices

what are indices?

is there a way to export the meta of the rock, then add my model to that meta, then rebuild the map? if so, how?

u put the rock model into the section with the other rocks, and when u use the rebuild feature u choose to add the new rock.. then u just meta sum texture onto it, lol
