Halo 3 trailer...OH SHI-
God I love campaign....things like that really get me.
That's the game I was waiting for in Halo 2...massive space and ground battles between carriers, Pelicans, Longswords, and all that good stuff...makes you feel like you're in a real conflict. The little short was pretty cool as well.

The Sony press conference is not looking good. All the games they showed on the screen they said were PS3 Exclusives. Turns out every game is on the 360, or Multi-Platform. The Assassins Creed trailer they showed was filmed on 360. The only good games they showed was Uncharted and MGS4. Most games they showed were Pre-Rendered. Not many were impressed by the Playstation Home. It seems like Second Life with better graphics. Also, the use of the Spiderman font is burning my eyes.
Edit: I'm watching the new Killzone 2 trailer. The game looks good, but the graphics are no better than Area 51: Blacksite. In fact it looks like the same engine.

agreed, Sony really needs to make a comeback. Microsoft is dominate. there sales are the most, they have more games then Wii and PS3 out together. now that xbox live offers movies from Disney that will boost their sales enormously. even with the new arcade games, and new demos.HPDarkness1 wrote:The Sony press conference is not looking good. they stated that xbox 360 games and vista games are getting closer and closer together, that means in one point in time Microsoft might just make a xbox that runs Vista and Xbox compatible games.

Apple's all in one gaming system, phone, music player, car, expandable house, and toothbrush.
Sony had a good lead for PS2, because they totally squashed the N64 with the original PlayStation, however sad it is. They were seen as the victor there, so that pushed their reputation up for the PS2, plus the fact that Microsoft was new to the market. Now, Microsoft has a good base, and lots of great games. Sony's lost some reputation with the exploding batteries deal, and although that's relatively minor, it sticks in the mind of an average consumer. Nintendo's getting lots of good sales because they're not targeting the same market as Microsoft and Sony are, they're going for the everyday person, and that's going to get them good stuff in the next generation, hopefully.

i dont even think its the exploding battery thing, people dont buy it simply because you have to choose if you want a PS3 or not eat for the next 2 months. the thing eats wallets. Also all the games that have come out for PS3 are all mediocre and the most impressive thing about them is the graphics. I remember this quote from some gaming website review "Sony's ship is sinking slowly and now that the 3rd party exclusives have 'jumped ship' its only a matter of time before sony sinks..."
oh so true...
oh so true...

I find it funny how all of the Sony fanboys are claiming Killzone 2 is a "Halo-killer" and will be the savior of the PS3. I don't know if they've ever played the original Killzone, but that game sucked. A lot. If they don't improve the gameplay, this will just be a prettier version of Killzone.
Also, I will be spending a lot of money on games in the coming months

people said the first one was going to be a halo killer, and in my opinion it just made halo look better. Also people need to wake up and realize that one game isnt going to save an entire console.gtavcmaster100 wrote:I find it funny how all of the Sony fanboys are claiming Killzone 2 is a "Halo-killer" and will be the savior of the PS3.
