Cloning chunks?

Cloning chunks?

How does cloning chunks multiply objects on a map? Because I did this and I cloned 6 chunks and only got one object.


"Open up your map in entity and go to the scnr tag and go to netgame equipment. Right click and hit clone chunk. A box will pop up then go to netgame equipment and find your item (super shield (1) click on it and select how many chunks you want to add to it (making copies of it) and hit clone. No more then 99 chunks can be in a map. Once its cloned hit add meta to map."

They will spawn right on top of each other. Just click on your object in the BSP viewer and move it and another one will be there.

I tried and there was only one. Could it be selecting all of them at once?

Also is there a way to get the objects to actually show up in game like it does in Entity? Like the Yaw Pitch and Roll is sooooo off.

You probably didnt select all of them at once. Darkmatter has a BSP viewer that has a working yaw, pitch, and roll. Or you could just use yaw in entity (alt key) since that works.

Then why is there only one?? O and isn't dark matter really old?


I found 1.1 alpha is that the latest one?

Did you get any errors when you clicked add meta to map?

Yea that should be the latest one.

No it said done and every thing was fine. Is there a minimum number of chunks to clone? Also for your tutorial I only need to use "Collections Master" only once right?

OK Darkmatter's controls are extremely hard to use. It also did not position them correctly made me want to stick a fork in my eye. :x O an also with darkmatter there was all the extra Machs I made, there were indeed on top of one another Entity must have been selection all of them so I could not even separate them.

(1.0.2464.32427) But its called Entity with AI. I downloaded a pack of every entity so I am going to try older ones because I used to make race tracks (long time ago) and they worked almost perfect for the most part. But I don't remember what entity it was. So I will keep testing. :x


Edit. Entity Beta 1.3 Did a good job positioning them but the ramps were straight and in entity they were ramps (like the containment gate) So I guess that would be Pitch?

Entity 1.4 I don't even know what was going on, all the collections were flat, it was like a old doom game. :X

Entity 1.3.7 Same as beta 1.3

Entity 1.3.8 Same as beta 1.3

Entity Alpha 1 Has gotten every thing the closest I think its also the one I used to use. :?

Cool thanks, its weird it seems thats once and object is not showing up correctly like as in a tilt, then it will never be normal but you can just use one that shows up correctly (If that makes any sense at all) :roll:


And Entity Beta 1.1.5 was real bad with the positions.
