Well, I'm still puzzled when it comes to modding H2 Gametypes. I found out how to use Sav3r and make/rename Gametypes to my likings, but I still can't seem to figure out how people enabled options like "Secondary heavy vehicle", or a "Filming" custom where everyone would not only spawn weaponless, but without radar, shield, ammo, etc.
I also found that every custom game has three files. The one "slayer" or "ctf" file (for example) and then the "SaveMeta.xbx" and "SaveImage.xbx" files. I figured the XBX file type was an image file, so I thought the "SaveImage.xbx" files is probably the custom Gametype's graphic or icon, but the other "SaveMeta.xbx" file seems to me like the actual data and options within the Gametype or custom game. Am I right about this? If so, how can I edit this file or view the XBX file as editable data? I tried opening it in Notepad/Wordpad/MSWORD but I only got symbols, boxes and such.
Still got questions about Gametypes...

I'm pretty sure that you can't go hud-less without modding.
And seeing that your using sav3r I'm gonna assume that you don't have your xbox modded.
But when your opening files that are found for game types don't open them in word pad, open them in a hex editor. With a proper guide you should be able to see the difference.

well you could just go online to the action replay site and download the hudless gametype and just edit it as you need to with saver and then put it on the xbox.
