I played that like a month ago. It sucks if you have a really bulky keyboard.

Yeah.

I prefer Guitar Hero, it has better overall presentation.

Frets on Fire is amazing. I don't play in the Guitar pose though, I get carpal tunnel really easily from that. Which is odd, because I can play the guitar normally for a long time. Probably just my keyboard.

Guitar Hero is better, Graphics wise. But the only thing you really look at is the glowing frets, so I prefer Frets on Fire. Plus with Guitar Hero the song selection is very limited. I like creating my own songs, and using others. I currently have over 1,000 songs.

heh, i was about to make a topic about this. anyways, yeah, i've got about 340 songs right now, all i'm gonna need ever. fun idea, but the program is badly written. i never have to choose quit from the main menu because it always crashes. also, difficulties on some songs are just BS. i'll play a tenacious D song on easy, or medium, and it'll be too insane to even play! on the creator's side, it's just amazing-level notes in medium mode, which is stupid, but on the program's side, there's certain chords that are impossible to hit, like holding down all 5 keys, or for me, the F4 and F5 keys.

overall, great idea, having guitar hero gameplay but with the ability to add songs, but crashes too often, and has significant issues.

there's some single ones on keyboards on fire, but songpacks is where it's at. i only downloaded songpack #4, and there's 333 songs in it, so that's all i need. search google, there's a few torrents out there, although be warned, it'll be over a gig.

If I'm allowed to post torrents to the song packs I will.

i don't see why you wouldn't. as long as the material in the torrent is legal it's fine, it's not as if the bit-torrent protocol is illegal.

Song Pack Torrents. I hosted these on FileDen, there are no links to any illegal torrent sites. Mods, If this is not allowed just delete the links. All files should be perfectly legal, they are in game format and user created.

Each file when finished torrenting is approximately 1.37GB
Readmes are included with the packs, READ THEM!!! They will help!

Song pack 1 (210 Songs).torrent
Song Pack 2 (222 Songs).torrent
Song Pack 3 (311 Songs).torrent
Song Pack 4 (322 Songs).torrent

Would it be illegal to post the Guitar Hero 1 and 2 song torrents?

(Stupid question, I know, but it's not the actual game so I wasn't sure.)

I didn't post those torrents. Those are ripped from a commercial game. So yes it would be illegal. If you have Guitar Hero for the PS2 there is an option within the game menu to rip them.
