Anti Spam for PHPBB

Does anyone know some anti spam script for phpbb?
Some spamming scripts are attacking my forums since months.
I dont want that anymore!

I'm guessing your best bets will be during-registration things, such as either requiring the email address to be activated, having those security code things, or even requiring the admin (you) to activate every account.

I found a script that will put a number thing on every posting.php

So you have to enter it before you can post. Will that work?

No that would suck. shadowkhas' has got the right idea, the security code verification can be activated via 'General Admin -> Configuration -> Enable Visual Confirmation'.

Pretty much the same thing as what I posted. But more annoying for normal users. ;/

I_F had mentioned installing something that would check how long you're on the Post Reply page, because bots just copy and paste the messages, so checking to make sure they're on the page for 3-5 seconds would stop that. I don't recall his exact wording. It was something to that effect.

another cool thing I saw was the Lionhead anti spam thing, where they had 5 images and it would say, "Select only the Happy Lions!" and in there would be a random assortment of faces, sad and happy (at random intervals and ammounts) and you have to select those faces.
