How the eff do they do that?

Post by j0eh4x »

Ok im new to the modding community, and I'm very good with a computer, and I just want to say to halomods great effin website. I've hosted websites before and non of them ever amounted to this... But neways heres my problem.... Ive had my xbox modded for about 3 days .... and so far ive installed killtrocity and other maps mods like Night Ops, and nightwinder2 very nice! to the creators. Well my problem is I watch these montage videos and I want to be able to do the stuff they do... like slow rockets down. Stop them in a mid air, It just seems like these people have alot more control over there halo 2 than i do and i want some of the scoop to... I have yelo installed and the infinite ammo, Enable AI and stuff like that works... but below the basic stuff theres a bunch of wierd random names that u can disable and enable and i have no idea what these things are and i thought maybe thats what i need to kno to do these things, Truthfully i dont really have a clew what im doing... Im learning as i go i havent run into anything i cant do other than control the aspects of the map, like rocket speed, and um other random stuff... Also how do they do those camera angles, like the pans above or off the map...

Thank you in advanced

All of those random names in yelo are the names of the skulls found in halo 2, so you can ativate them without needing to find them. Also, the camera angles are done through yelo's developers mode being activated. I beleive there is a tutorial on that in yelo's main page in the utilities section.

yea and just about everthing else can be changed by editing the map files with programs such as entity which can be found in utilities

it's good to see a new guy who knows he doesnt know what he's doing :D
