You can't use the tool detox came out with? It's supposed to work for vista users, although I heard it works for XP users when the other fails. :wink:

I already have it skinned. =\

What I do want though, is that script that Scotty was talking about, where the sound is muffled. What script does that? I've been looking in the ScriptTools constructor for a while now, and I can't find it. =(

I don't like the skinned weapons =(
And I think it would be much better if faisal skinned it rather than having desaturated bitmap "skin" (What it looks like to me)

Disagreed and agreed... You need to used more LIGHTS to get that SPACE highlights affect... space has no ambiance lighting last I looked (Okay there is but...you know what I mean...). Just place a bunch of lights all in the direction of the planet, darken the lightmap some more and make the colours all match then voila! new lightmap look... sorta... really just shadows that look good...

*Note I am still working on that model--don't give up on me yet! :wink:

Amazing! The skin never changed a bit, but you went from "this looks nice" to "this looks desaturated and horrible". What changed? :?

If sum1 else could make a better Beam rifle skin, then that'd be cool, but I like the carbine skin. It looks cool. And, the bsp skin could use a makeover I guess. I thought my first bsp skin was good though. :cry:

Trust me! use the lighting! (It could look much better than BSP lightmap editing...) The colours need more heavy shadows and bright highlights for space; thus my lighting idea.

If you're going to use "quotes" what you need "to" "do" "," is make "sure" what you're quot"ing" is actu"ally" what" " I "said".

"The reason is" is be"cause" I never actually said "the skin was horrible" anywhere...I said I don't like the "skinned weapons". Just slopping" a red colour" over the top doeesn't usuall make them "look good".
It still is "amazing" in terms of "atmosphere" but I said you could "impove"" " by taking "faisal's" offer. "Ok?".

The "tone" you took "after saying that" kinda annoyed me" especially due to the" "misued "quotes"" and the"emoticon".

uh, ya... about that...

I finally got script injecting to work for me. But When I inject that one script, then I get the "floating MC head" thing. =( And, when I pick up the Brute Plasma Rifle, the game freezes. :cry:

I'm still trying to get it work, though. It could just be the way I'm injecting the script that makes it not work. But, I am trying.

I did do it on Colossus though, just to see what the script is like, and it is soo awesome! I really hope I can get it to work, cus the ambiance produced from the sound effect is amazing. :o

Is it the bsp or the map file? My only thought would be possibly convert the bsp to maybe lockout or something and see if that gets rid of the problem...Otherwise I don't know, I'm not too experienced in that regard.

Sure you have permission from Rain to take the Spiker from his mod, But do you really have permission from Conner or Me to use our work? :?

I wish you would have asked me before flatout pasting it into your mod. Sure you asked Rain, but that dosen't mean its his because its in his mod.
