Allow injected bipeds to use flag
Allow injected bipeds to use flag
Name kinda explains it. I want to allow the ODST or anything else to use the flag and oddball, but I can't find out how to do it. The only tutorial I found said "ok, now make it look like this picture", but the pictures had broken links, so I can't find out how to do it. Anyone know how?

Go into the [weap] tag and select the flag > open the meta editor.
Scroll down till you see the "weapon type" and "weapon short form" strings...
Change the "Weapon type" string from "flag" to "pistol"
Change the "Weapon short form" string from "f" to "hp"
Note: you may need to adjust the left hand marker on the flag

you can also do this with any other weapon to make the odst able to wield it.

Ya, I tried that with the brute shot, but it looked crappy, so I got rid of the brute shot.

well thats just the pistol animation, you could use the marines other weapon animation but it'll probably still look weird.
