I've seen a couple mods where people have re-modeled the master cheif's helmet into somthing else (the marine head, and flaming skull). I was wondering if there was a tutorial somewhere on how to do that, because when I tried to just normaly re-model the master cheif, it screwed up his animations, and his body parts werent connected anymore.
no its not. all it is is they nulled sumthin in the hlmt/mode or swapped the ident. i know they had to do more stuff tho to make it turn and move correctly
all me and shadow lag did for our mods was null out the helmet in the LOD reflexive of the mode and then attach a bloc with the hlmt of what we needed to the head of the cheif. Positioning it to fit is a pain in the butt.

alright thanks. hey turk, would you mind if I used your exact same meta for the flaming skull for my upcoming mod? Im modeling a Halo 3 spartan helmet for my upcoming mod, and it would be easiest to just replace the skull mode &hlmt tags to get the new mask on there. I'll put you in the credits if you say its alright.
